My name is Rea Joanna Peristeri, an actress with Greek–Albanian roots.
The desire to become an actress has been with me since my school years. As a child, I was deeply inspired by American cinema and Greek theatre. At the age of 18, I chose a “safe” academic path, leaving my artistic dream unfulfilled for several years.
At 25, life led me to Germany, where a new chapter began. I worked for five years in various medical fields until a family loss became a turning point, pushing me to make a fundamental decision: to finally pursue my dream of acting.
With very limited German language skills, I was accepted into an audition workshop at a Berlin acting school — and unexpectedly admitted. To this day, I am still amazed that I managed to move the audience and convince the teachers, even without fully mastering the language.Since 2020, I have been studying acting at the Berliner Schule für Schauspiel, while simultaneously learning German. After a pandemic-related interruption, I continued my training and, as of November 2025, I am completing my final year of studies at Fritz Kirchhoff – Der Kreis. So far, I have had the opportunity to explore a wide range of roles and continuously develop my artistic expression.I am particularly interested in roles in film and television that require intensity, transformation, and bold artistic choices. I am drawn to characters with strong emotional depth, physical presence, and inner tension. I love exploring different characters and revealing diverse facets of my personality through my work.I am looking for projects that allow space for depth, courage, and an authentic artistic voice.
