About me

Ramona Rani was born to a German mother and Indian father in Maine, USA and spent many years abroad before her family settled in Berlin. Ever since she was a teenager, dance played an important part in her life. She studied ballet and modern dance and choreographed and performed modern dance, jazz dance and street dance in various theatre productions, at festivals, parades and carnivals and at cultural and sports events.

Acting has been a passion for Ramona Rani right from the start. This passion eventually led her back to the United States. She studied stage and film acting in Berlin and Los Angeles, produced her own One-Woman-Show in Berlin and worked as a commercial and TV actress in California/USA for seven years.
She currently lives in Berlin again where she also works as a German voice actor / dubbing talent using her unique and versatile voice qualities.

“Music was my first love and it‘ll be my last.“ Ramona Rani studied singing and built a repertoire of pop songs and jazz standards. She also writes and produces her own music and released one of her own songs "Nur So Zum Vergnügen" and a music video in September 2021 which she also directed.
