Philippa Otto

I am an actress, singer, and rapper based in Berlin. I studied acting at the Berliner Schule für Schauspiel and graduated in May 2024. Since then, I have been performing the role of Julia/Singer in 1984 by George Orwell at the Berliner Ensemble. Recently, I also played the role of Frau Prysselius in Pippi Longstocking – The Musical.
Most recently, I appeared in Gen-Z Overload – a staged reading with Ronja Ebeling about the worries and future anxieties of the young generation – in which I portrayed the character “Money.”

Theater is my great love, and music is another passion of mine. Under the name Orange Soda, I write and compose rap and pop music, which is available on platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. Earlier this year, we shot a music video for my song Going Crazy, which has already been nominated at several film festivals, including the Up and Coming Festival in Hannover.]

I am excited about what lies ahead and look forward to exploring the world of film even more – aiming to expand my stage experience with new work in front of the camera.
