Nils Dörgeloh

After a successful career in the corporate world, Nils Dörgeloh transitioned into acting. He trained at the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg and the renowned William Esper Studio in New York, before completing a classical acting program at the Michael Chekhov Studio Berlin. He also studied in Los Angeles.

He first appeared on stage before making his feature film debut in Marco Kreuzpaintner’s comedy „Coming In“. He went on to appear in the adaptation of Benedict Wells’ bestselling novel „Becks letzter Sommer“ (Beck’s Last Summer, dir. Frieder Wittich) alongside Christian Ulmen.

Dörgeloh gained widespread recognition for his recurring role in the award-winning comedy series "Jerks", in which he starred opposite Christian Ulmen and Fahri Yardim. For his performance, he received the Quotenmeter Television Award for „Best Supporting Actor“. He has also appeared in dramatic roles in several episodes of „Tatort“ (Crime Scene), including the highly acclaimed “Im toten Winkel” directed by Philip Koch.

In the SWR mini-series „Labaule & Erben“ (created by Harald Schmidt, dir. Boris Kunz), Dörgeloh played a recurring role alongside Uwe Ochsenknecht. He also starred in a leading role in the VOX series „Milk & Honey“. Most recently, he appeared in Daniel Brühl’s directorial debut „Nebenan“ (Next Door), which premiered in competition at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.
