Magdalena Gräslund was born in Berlin in 2000 and grew up bilingual, with German and Swedish roots. She began taking piano lessons at an early age and sang in various chamber choirs. Her first experiences with theatre came at the Swedish primary school in Berlin. After completing her Abitur, she studied Philosophy and Theatre Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and performed with the youth theatre at the Volksbühne.
In 2021, she began her acting studies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock, supported by a Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship). In 2022, she transferred to Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch, where she worked with Steffi Kühnert, Alexander Simon, and Jeremy Mockridge, among others. Since January 2025, Magdalena Gräslund has been performing in the production Future Macbeth (directed by Stas Zhyrkov) at the Berliner Ensemble.
