About me

Born in Palestine, Lamis currently lives in Berlin and is the star of the critically acclaimed Sand Storm, which won the Grand Jury Prize in World Cinema at Sundance in 2016, amongst other recognized festival wins and nominations. in 2021 Lamis landed one of the leads in Desert Warrior opposite Anthony Mackie and Ben Kingsley. at age 16, Lamis began her artistic career in Theatre, her first acting job was in ''The Freedom Theatre'' in Jenin refugee camp in Palestine. Shortly afterwards she was casted for William Shakespeare and Bertolt Brecht plays and for other big Theatres around the world. Lamis graduated with a BA degree in acting, she speaks fluent Arabic, Hebrew, English and German.
