Lama Alhalabi

Lama Al-Halabi, born in December 1986, is a Syrian actress, writer and painter who has lived in Berlin since 2015.

She participated in theater directing kurs in Damascus in 2003 and developed her experience as an actress in several plays at the Universitytheater, and won several awards as best actress

In addition to her work in theater, she studied economics, but her passion for art, especially theater, was much greater, and this prompted her to delve deeper into research in the field of theatre, acting, and art, as she considered art to be the broad place through which she communicated with her true self.
After taking refuge in Germany 2015 due to the war in Syria, She participated in many creative artistic works, in several improvised theater plays, and participated in writing texts for these plays, and also reading theatrical texts in Arabic and German, She studied Physical Drama-für Bewegungtheater, Visuelle Dramaturgie und Mime, In 2023, she trained the art of mime to a group of young people from diverse cultural backgrounds in a workshop for a period of 6 months.  communicating through our bodies without using speech
She also began to paint the transitional phase of her life and participated in several painting exhibitions of fine art with artists from several cultures and nationalities in Berlin, and an installation mixed with theater plays,
