Katrin Katz Köbbert

Köbbert prefers to be addressed by her alias ‘Katz’; she is queer, gender-fluid (she/they) and a member of the Queermedia Society. She has travelled extensively – from backpacking to 5-star hotels – and has worked in a wide variety of professions. Above all, she has retained the hobbies that combine creativity, improvisation and the embodiment of a wide variety of characters: pen-and-paper role-playing, live-action role-play (improvised role-play in costume), fan and fire dancing, sword yoga and board games. She makes her own props and costumes for this, and depending on the event, she’s an elf, a gang member or a Dungeon Master; she loves fantasy, horror and crime. Her favourite things to listen to are true-crime podcasts and non-fiction audiobooks on feminism and neurodivergence. Waiting for her at home are her tomcat Teddy – the chaos officer with a single brain cell – and her cat Minthara, named after a wonderfully arrogant drow from a video game.
