About me

Carmela Bonomi is currently shooting the new surreal dramedy movie of Susanne Heinrich, her prequel won the Max Ophüls Preis 2019 for best film. As well as the sequel of „Palast“, directed by Uli Edel, the ZDF dance TV-series about the dance ensemble of Friedrichstadt Palast Berlin.

Currently you can see her in „TRAPPED“ an independent british dancefilm as well as in the well known german classic GZSZ - „Leon - Glaub nicht alles was Du siehst“.

Creating with different people, seeing how far we can go is what excites me the most in this industry!
I love connecting with people, finding solutions, overcoming challenges and fears. And I feel like the film industry is perfect for that. Also I get to include all my hobbies on a job like driving motorcycles, riding horses, climbing and snowboarding, speaking different languages and all that stuff. In the end, even if it sounds cheasy but making others happy makes me happy, that’s why I’m so thankful to be part of this industry cheering up the world with our work.
