Caitlin Volz

Caitlin Virginia Volz is an actress and voice artist with professional training and extensive experience in theatre, audiobooks, audio drama and voice acting. Her artistic focus lies in text-based character work, emotional precision and a strong sensitivity to language and storytelling.

She completed her acting training at the state-accredited Transform Acting School and further developed her craft through continuous stage practice, including theatre work at the Volkshochschule Oranienburg. Her stage experience spans both classical and contemporary drama. Theatre roles include Angélique in Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid, the title role in August Strindberg’s Miss Julie, as well as roles in plays by Lutz Hübner, which required rapid shifts between characters, perspectives and narrative levels.

Alongside her theatre work, Caitlin Volz increasingly focused on microphone- and camera-based performance. She has been working as a freelance voice artist for several years and is widely known for her recurring leading voice role Mini-Spick. The audiobook series Goblins in the Attic (Kobolde unterm Dach) reaches a regular audience of over 50,000 listeners in Switzerland.

In addition, she played leading roles in further productions within the SPICK universe, including The Suitcase Adventure – Christmas Audio Advent Calendar Special and The Courage Book, an audiobook project created in cooperation with Swiss children’s hospitals. Her collaboration with the KünzlerBachmann publishing environment spans multiple years and reflects a long-term, reliable working relationship.

With growing professional experience, Caitlin Volz became self-employed and founded Artists Need Artists, a network and platform for creatives across disciplines. While initiating and supporting collaborative projects, her artistic focus remains firmly rooted in acting – on stage, in front of the camera and behind the microphone.
